Remember Captain Vidal could not hear the screaming mandrake and neither could be seen the Faun. Anyway, I love film, visually incredible, spellbindingly written and wonderfully acted - the ending is heartbreaking because we are so engrossed in a spectacular story.Myerlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00772428029534463716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4564277570960354470.post-55419330044083724692012-03-25T13:20:44.748-04:002012-03-25T13:20:44.748-04:00@Sati. - Thanks.@Sati. - Thanks.Chip Laryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787403805554027107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4564277570960354470.post-15594457133370604202012-03-24T16:04:06.079-04:002012-03-24T16:04:06.079-04:00Great review! As much as I like this film, The Devil's Backbone is my favorite of his work. If you like this film, you'll like that one as well--the stories are very similar in many ways. Substitute a boy for the girl and a ghost for the faun, and you're halfway there.

Oh, and real. I'm definitely doing an Auteurs profile on him next month as I really think he's got an imagination that is truly unique. He isn't just this great technical filmmaker who knows how to use visual effects but also back it up with stories that you can get into.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.com
